A full list of performing rights organizations (PROs) by territory - a reference so writers can find and join a society in their country.

What matters most

Anglo-American societies

To work with Rightstune today, you need to be affiliated with an Anglo-American PRO as a writer. These societies fit the digital-mechanical model we use: we can register your works, collect the publisher share of performance, and pay you through our direct collection partners.

Membership in a local PRO elsewhere is still valuable for your territory - but without one of the societies below, we cannot represent you yet.

BIEM / author’s-rights societies

Many territories use BIEM-style author’s-rights societies (for example GEMA, SACEM, SIAE, JASRAC). These are common and important - but today they sit outside the Anglo-American path Rightstune can represent writers through.

We are working toward representing writers affiliated with BIEM-focused societies as well. If your only PRO is on this list, you can still join an Anglo-American society to work with us now, or check back as support expands.
