How commission works
Rightstune charges a publishing-admin fee on mechanical and performance royalties (typically 15% mechanical / 12% performance). Affiliates earn a share of that fee — default 25% — for every client attributed to their link. You never take ownership of anyone’s copyrights.
Who should apply?
Managers, producers, educators, playlist curators, DISCs, and creators with an audience of songwriters who still need a publishing administrator.
When do I get paid?
Commission follows the same monthly royalty cycle as clients. Your dashboard shows accrued amounts per user and per month. Payouts are sent to the PayPal email in Settings once a period is marked paid.
Is this different from client Sign Up?
Yes. Client Sign Up is for songwriters collecting royalties. This Affiliates flow is only for people referring those clients.
