How commission works
Rightstune charges a publishing-admin fee on mechanical and performance royalties (typically 15% mechanical / 12% performance). Partners earn a share of that fee: 25% direct, 5% override, 2.5% master, never ownership of anyone’s copyrights. No pay for recruiting alone. See the Affiliate Terms for the full program policy.
Who should apply?
Managers, producers, educators, playlist curators, DISCs, and creators with an audience of songwriters who still need a publishing administrator.
When do I get paid?
Commission follows reconciled monthly royalty statements. Your dashboard shows accrued amounts by tier. Payouts are sent to the PayPal email in Settings once a period is marked paid.
Is this different from client Sign Up?
Yes. Client Sign Up is for songwriters collecting royalties. This Affiliates flow is only for people referring those clients (and optionally recruiting partners).
Do I have to disclose the partnership?
Yes. When you promote Rightstune, clearly disclose your commercial relationship (FTC endorsement guides).
